Key responsibilities:
ensure accuracy and alignment of cash inflow dates within the SAP system, collaborating closely with Regional teams and the finance department,
coordinate contract release alignment and actively participate in the contract release and handover process with the Contract Management team to ensure all critical commercial data is accurately reflected in SAP,
maintain and update central data systems, ensuring that dashboards, reporting structures, and PowerBI reports reflect real-time, accurate business metrics,
actively participate in Sales & Operations (S&OP) meetings, contributing data insights regarding bus demand, identifying potential delivery gaps, and highlighting commercial risk areas,
conduct regular sales pipeline reviews in coordination with the Bidding Office and Regional sales teams,
analyze and synthesize complex sales tables to map out, maintain, and optimize the commercial sales pipeline,
own the late delivery forecasting and estimation process, mitigating risks and providing visibility to internal stakeholders regarding potential timeline deviations,
track, analyze, and report on Solaris’ positioning within the global bus market,
monitor macroeconomic and industry trends, evaluate market size variations, and deliver deep-dive SWOT analyses to support leadership's strategic planning,
identify performance gaps and improvement areas across commercial workflows, proposing data-backed solutions to optimize commercial efficiency.
Candidate profile:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related technical/commercial field,
minimum 5 years of experience in sales operations, commercial analysis, business intelligence, or financial controlling, ideally within the automotive, manufacturing, or heavy machinery industries,
proficiency in SAP (specifically commercial/sales modules),
strong data visualization skills using PowerBI or similar BI tools,
advanced mastery of MS Excel for data synthesis and table analysis,
analytical mindset with high attention to detail,
strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across Regions, Finance, and Bidding teams,
proactive approach to problem-solving,
fluent English, knowledge of German would be a great asset.

The position plays a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making within the Commercial Division of Solaris Bus & Coach. The ultimate objective of this role is to monitor, analyze, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales data to uncover operational efficiencies and improvement areas. Acting as a strategic bridge between Sales, Regions, Finance, and Contract Management, this position ensures data integrity across systems while providing the market and pipeline intelligence necessary to secure Solaris' market-leading position.
