Your role and responsibilities
As a result of growth of our organization - ABB Medium Voltage Drives we are currently looking for candidates for a position of Junior Data Analytics & BI Specialist in our factory in Aleksandrów Łódzki.
In this role, you will become part of a team that leverages data, analytics, automation, and AI to support strategic business decisions and drive operational excellence. You will work with modern technologies including Power BI, Databricks, Python, SQL, and Generative AI solutions, contributing to projects that have a real impact on business performance and continuous improvement.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Maintain, optimize, and further develop existing BI, AI, and automation solutions to maximize business value and operational efficiency.
Prepare, test, and maintain Python scripts, notebooks, and data workflows supporting installed base analytics and reporting activities.
Support, monitor, and improve Large Language Model (LLM) solutions used for field failure analysis, knowledge extraction, and process automation.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Contribute to Databricks-based analytics workflows, data pipeline development, and data quality improvement initiatives.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to analytics, reporting, and automation tools.
Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support solution sustainability and knowledge sharing.
Identify automation opportunities and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, AI, or a similar analytical role.
Practical experience working with Power BI, Databricks, Python, and SQL.
Basic understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and their business applications.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to data quality.
Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and effectively communicate analytical findings.
Curiosity, willingness to learn new technologies, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
