Key responsibilities:
executing functional and software validation campaigns,
running test cases on HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), SIL (Software-in-the-Loop), and real battery packs,
monitoring live data streams and logs to detect anomalies in real time,
collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver detailed test reports, including plots, logs, and root cause analysis,
conducting fault injection campaigns (e.g., sensor failures, communication drops, thermal excursions) to validate fault detection and mitigation strategies,
verifying system behavior in degraded modes and ensure safe fallback mechanisms are triggered,
calibrating and tunning battery control parameters based on test results (e.g., current limits, thermal thresholds, SOC/SOH estimation),
analyzing logs and debug software behavior using tools like CANalyzer, Python (Jupyter Notebook), and other in-house tools,
correlating log data with expected behavior to identify bugs or misconfigurations,
logging issues in defect tracking systems (e.g., OTRS, JIRA) and follow up with software and systems teams,
participating in issue triage meetings to prioritize fixes and ensure timely resolution.
Candidate profile:
experience in battery management systems, embedded software validation, or control systems engineering,
familiarity with HIL/SIL environments and fault injection techniques,
good in data analysis and debugging tools (e.g., CANalyzer, Python),
understanding of battery system behavior and control logic,
strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
experience with defect tracking tools and agile development processes,
excellent communication and teamwork skills,
very good English command.
